To impress the press audience with Tikkurila color range and expertise, I decided to partner with the awarded trend analyst Nina Bruun and creative art director Päivi Häikiö in 2018. We conducted visual reports from the Stockholm Furniture Fair and Milan Design Week with a multi-channel approach. In addition to beautiful reports with matching Tikkurila shades, the influencers created behind-the-scenes visual mini-forecasts on spot via Instagram stories based on my brief. A web article was published as a teaser for the whole report. This concept was created based on the insights I received from qualitative interviews with media influencers.
Case: Topical #TikkurilaColorJournal collages arouse media interest
In addition to the Milan trend report, Bruun created monthly mood boards on interesting surfaces and current phenomena to forecast the future of interior design and colors with the hashtag #tikkurilacolorjournal in 2018. I developed this supporting concept together with Bruun and the collaboration received media hits internationally in trade media and daily news to strengthen Tikkurila’s position as the Nordic color leader.
